Returning with a double dose of the Kali sound, The Secret Smooth Band takes on songs by two up-and-coming bummer punk bands: Just Friends (Broken World Media/Open Door Records) and I'm Glad It's You (6131 Records/Open Door Records).

Released on a cassingle, these two songs flesh out the band's soft rock emo aesthetic. "Daydream" blossoms with cascading strings and Motown guitar chirps over gentle bass and emphatic drums while "Curbside" rests in a bed of chiming guitars, groovy keyboard riffs and a lazy backbeat.
